I have been a licensed real estate agent since 1987. I became a broker in 1999. I received my Graduate of the Realtors Institute certification this year and now can proudly display the GRI designation after my name. Less than 5% of realtors have this distinction. It basically means that I went the extra mile to ensure you the best qualifications possible.
History
I started selling condos in Manhattan in 1987 for independant developers. After selling out that project I worked for a developer that opened the first new construction building on Central Park West since World War II. Customers included many of New Yorks entertainment industry.

We moved to Pelham in 1992 and our second child was born three weeks later. When our youngest was in school I went back to real estate selling in a local office in Pelham. After several years working in that firm I opened my own agency, Margo De Santis Real Estate.
I have been Treasurer of the Siwanoy PTA, a member of the Cultural Arts Committee, the Chair of the teachers appreciation week. I have also served as a class parent many times. I have been in the Junior League of Pelham since 1995, where I served as the Chairman of the Ways and Means committee. I was also elected sustainer representative, maybe one of their youngest!
We are members of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish. I am a supporter of the Pelham Picture House, Pelham Preservation Society, Pelham Art Center, Pelham Education Fund, Pelham Childrens Theatre, Pelham Children's Center, I have served on the Pelham Library's "Novel Night of November" committee.
Also I spend time rescuing food for County Harvest, an organization started by a Pelham neighbor to feed those in need in Westchester County.
We also belong to the Pelham Country Club where I play on the MITL Tennis and Paddle teams.

. In my "free time" I play competitive backgammon internationally!
